My name is April and I’ve always been the crafty type.
April’s Inspirations became a business in early 2011, but it started many years ago… As far back as I can remember I’ve been thinking up ideas and carefully crafting them into reality. When I was young I didn’t think my passion for crafting would be more than a hobby, but my mother realized my potential and with her encouragement April’s Inspirations was created. My goal is to make products that are stylish and functional enough to use every day. I try to think of things that will help people stay organized or stand out in a crowd. All of my jewellery is unique—I never make the same piece twice!
I love bright colours
You’ll notice that many of my sewn goodies are made with funky prints and bright colours. I like to think of these pieces as little reminders to smile, be happy and enjoy all that life has to offer.
My Inspiration
Being a mother of two, I was inspired to make affordable baby accessories as well as jewellery and other accessories for everyday use. I have tested the products I make and my ideas come from things I’d like to wear or use myself.

You’ll notice I post instructional videos on how to make many of my crafts and jewellery pieces. I believe that everyone can share in the joy of creating and experience the satisfaction that comes from using something they’ve made. I enjoy what I do and I hope that you’ll enjoy it too!
